Kind of hard to get a good picture, but does anyone else's corto look like this near the rod tip? Sort of a bulge where the tip transitions to the rest of the blank. On the tict it is perfect. Just curious if it is a defect or not.

I have a 6’1”, 6’10”, and 7’4” and don’t see a transition like that on any of mine??
I have the 6'10" and it looks more like the tapering of the rod.
I have the 610.....no bulge. As you mention kind of hard to see in your pics. Those who don’t know....but all may know......the solid tip is inserted into the hollow blank and epoxied in.

I have a brand new Corto Nuovo Prototype GNCPS-6102L-HS with the solid tip. It has the bulge below the 4th guide and it's clearly where the solid tip was spliced in. Nothing irregular about it. Attachment 368204Attachment 368205Attachment 368206

While dock-shooting today with the Triple Cross, a very nice spotted bass ambushed my Bobby Garland 1/32 oz. jig and proceeded to put a major bend in my Major Craft! It also gave the Luvias drag a workout! 20 inches, est 4+ lbs, on 3 lb flouro. This is my PB spot from the 'ol home lake (Lanier).

Jawja, do you fish Alatoona at all? I’ve driven around it some and always liked it and thought it would have less traffic than Lanier. With all this rain I would bet that Lanier is back up where it belongs.
Very nice looking fish for sure... I’d say that was a battle!
