    What are the fish doing in this hi temp weather. I am looking for some cooler water. Wouldnt mind traveling up to weissfor a day or so.

    On deep brush piles on the ledges of the river channel. I hear the bite is ok early in the morning until it gets hot.Then they get lock jaw.
    I myself am going to wait until mid Sept or the night temps get into the low to mid 60's. Then I'll start running over to Weiss to fish.
    I think the fish hate the heat as much as people do
