Thread: Cotaco 01-18

Fished Cotaco upstream of sharps ford ramp and found a few smallish fish 8 ft deep on laydowns hitting hard but didn’t get any slabs until I lazily let the jig hang just above bottom while drifting between laydowns and found the good ones were hitting so softly that I had to watch the rod tip to know I had one ….got six good keepers and prob 2 dozen dinks and 9 inch types before I had to call it. Fished from noon till 3 and all fish caught on by chartreuse. All fish released
