Anyone have any advice on fishing the ditto landing area? I love to kayak fish but need easy put in/take out due to disability.

The back slough across from the boat harbor holds Crappie most of the year but should be about dry right now with Wheeler at winter pool. When I fish there parking is 30 feet from the water and a gradual slope making launch and loading easy depending on the extent of your restrictions. The boat harbor itself (across the road from the back slough) has riprap all the way around. It's a difficult launch even for me.

Aldridge Creek runs by the harbor and dumps into the Tennessee River and holds fish through most of the year but also can be a difficult launch depending on water levels.

Have you ever done any good in the harbor? Putting on on the ramp is really easy.

I've fished it a few times, never caught many there. Floating docks should be a good pattern in another month.

FYI, I've done well in the Decatur and Ingalls Harbors in December, January and February.
