I made one more trip to Limestone before the gate is locked after this weekend. I figure it will be covered up with people fishing over the weekend. I kept 9 and returned a dozen larger fish. Shorts, Gills and ChannelCat were everywhere again. Same tactic, jig and bobber anywhere there's a little shade on the water. I shared the middle pit with the big Gator for about an hour, I think he's gotten even bigger. I ended up sitting next to him from only 20 or 30 feet away a lot of the time. I hadn't seen him in a while and was worried somebody shot him. Glad he's still around. There's a little four-footer up in the old creek channel also. The water has dropped a few more inches and cleared a little more. It was 64 degrees at daylight and had only warmed to 68 by afternoon. Good day on the water.
