I made a short trip to Barron Fork this morning keeping 10 Crappie and returning another half limit of larger fish. Little Gills everywhere, but none with shoulders. All fish came of a little 1/32oz jig head with a small spinner and a 1" slider body. Visibility of about 6" and 80 degrees.

Thanks for sharing! That sounds like a lot of fun.
I know you’ve shared this before but do you typically put in off Zierdt and fish north all the way to what looks like a spring?
Or do you typically fish south toward Indian creek?
I’ve fished there a few times in the summer, put in off Zierdt at the bridge and went north after the put in and only caught bluegill, longear, and Shellcracker, but maybe I didn’t paddle far enough back. Most of the area I fished there in the summer was pretty shallow there and I’ve never found the crappie there like I have all in Indian creek.
Thanks!

Sorry for the slow response, I've been out of town for work.
I fish both above and below the bridge and catch my fish 50/50 above and below most trips. Below I fish isolated stumps and laydowns (knowledge over many years), above I'm using small spinners or jig and bobber in the shady areas.
