I made a short trip to Barron Fork this morning. Channelcat were feeding heavy, returned a dozen including a few that broke off on 4pound test. Not much action on jig and bobber or my little spinner (except cats). Retuned three larger Crappie and six shorts single poling isolated laydowns. It was already getting hot by 8:30AM so I didn't stay long. Water was cloudy, visibility of less than a foot everywhere and 88 degrees at daylight.
