    Can i catch a blue gill in wheeler Lake and use it to bait a hook to catch a catfish in wheeler lake

    Yes, as long as you catch the bluegill on hook and line. You can't castnet them.

    Caught 5 for noodle lines. Returned 5 fisky bg with holes in em.

    It's ok for the same body of water for sure. Not sure if you can take a bluegill from lake/river A and then use for bait in lake/river B though. I'd assume that is fine too for cut bait (I'm sure ive done it). I do think catshing live baitfish and using them as live bait on different bodies of water is against the rules.
