Managed to get out for a couple of hours yesterday morning on the Big G before getting blown off the water. Clarity was about 2 1/2 to 3' and slightly stained. Fish that bit were aggressive and hit hard. Had these 6 that I kept and had 3 shorts as well. Of the 6: 5 were males and only one female and she had no eggs even close to being ready. I'm sure there were big females in the area but did not get them to bite. With the full moon, I suspect that the evening bite in this area is probably better than the morning bite, but I was just glad to get out. I was throwing a double rig with a 1/16 bottom jig with either glacier or blue ice on the bottom with a 1/24 jiffy jig above that. Caught fish on both top and bottom jigs. Picture is in the bottom of the 6 gal bucket I was using for a seat.
