I fished Cotaco today putting in at Sharpsford. The Crappie were scattered with not many being caught though there were boats everywhere. I ended up keeping a dozen that were 9 to 10 inches, returning half a limit of larger Crappie plus numerous short fish. I never seemed to catch more than a single fish at any laydown, I just had to keep moving coving water. The best bait was a 1" slider on a 1/32oz jighead on laydowns with single pole. Most hit the jig on the slow fall about 4 to 6 feet deep. Water was cloudy with visibility of about 12 inches and 62 degrees.
