Thread: Kayak report for Friday

We went back Friday before the gate closed today. The bite was slower but we still managed 17 keepers with a few shorts. Still not 1 crappie out of the pits. Tons of shad in them and temps 62 with 60 in the creek. No gaters seen today.
At least the pelicans were over close to the ramp at arrow head. Hope the fish move into the pits before the water drops and cuts off the entrances. A beautiful day with all the leaves changing colors.
