Kayak Trip Report, Indian Creek
I made a short trip to Indian Creek this morning. Single pole on laydowns. Fish were 6 to 8 feet deep in 10 to 12 feet of water. Best bait was a Chartreuse Bobby Garland on a 1/32oz jig head. The fish were biting light, but I managed 11 that would measure and returned a dozen or so short fish. The water was 71 degrees and clear with visibility of about 18 inches. There are baitfish schools from the mouth of the Creek up to where Barron Fork Creek enters Indian Creek. I didn't find Crappie concentrated anywhere, just one here and there. Still a good morning.
