I decided to return to Buckeye Pond after work today, kept another half limit and returned about the same number of larger fish. Shorts were numerous and all over. Best bait today was a 1" slider body on a 1/16 jig head about 24 inches deep and pulled fast. I think the wind and cloudy sky helped.
