Wanting to camp at Joe wheeler state park this weekend. What would be the go to technique and possible location to go. I have never fished there. Any help is appreciated. Lol

thats deep water mostly and although I have fished it extensively for bass the crappie Ive caught by accident while doing so seem to like hanging on the bluffs or chasing the plentiful baitfish ....if you spot bass or stripe schooling at the surface, count a jig down 8-10 ft below them for crappie that follow the bait ball and feed on the stragglers.....same technique will work on the bluffs too.
