I'm sorry for the loss of your father. Judging from my own experience(s): There is nothing harder than losing a parent, and my heart goes out to you.
Judging from your description of his time on earth... you have described a great parent... one whose work/mission on earth has been well done...
one whose legacy will surely live on through you and yours, and through all who knew and loved him.
Take comfort in knowing that there is no more that he could ask for out of this life than that. You have indeed been blessed.
