Me and a buddy fished limestone creek Thursday. We fished the pits as well as the bend with very little crappie action. We had 4 keepers and a couple shorts. We did catch several bass with the biggest about 3 lbs. The current was swift and water level just high enough to get in the first pit. Bait fish were in the pits but could not get the crappie to hit. hope the water slows down and the fishing improves soon. Waiting on the 10th when the gates open back up. Still a very enjoyable day on the water. All fish released for another day.
