Love this site and all of the help I have received over the years. Only problem I have is the amount of guest on this board who never contribute anything to the forum. I have learned a lot over the last several years and become a better fisherman but it bothers me all the guest every day that add nothing. Would love to see members only to access this board. This might stir the pot but you can't bad mouth me as long as you stay a guest.

Not throwing rocks. I don't have the time working to stay on computer a lot. At least I have tried to contribute something from time to time to help others. I am not a great fisherman is why I don't post more than I do. Mods if this post is out of line please delete. 466 posts is a long way from zero as a guest.
Stop it. We’re supposed to be friendly no mater how much anyone posts. And as far as the high number of guests/visitors, many of them are bots, so I would not even look at those numbers. I’ve been tempted to turn those numbers off but I haven’t yet.

That's why I was happy put the Crappie.com sticker on my boat!
The reason some of us don’t post a lot is that we don’t get to fish as much as we would like to. Due to medical reasons I can’t go fishing by myself anymore and a lot of my fishing partners are no longer able to go. My best fishing partner which is my wife is still teaching so that limits our fishing time. I enjoy getting on this site usually daily and reading what is going on and no I don’t always sign in. In my opinion this is the best fishing website there is. A big THANK YOU to Slab and the Moderators for controlling what goes on and keeping it family friendly.
I really enjoy this forum. I don’t get to fish as much as I would like (and certainly catch less than I would like!), but I learn a bit here and enjoy reading about others who do better than me.
Always been a great site and a supreme group of fishermen. I can't speak for others, but I don't look at the fish as being mine. I'm just blessed to catch a few and like sharing what I can for the others that don't get out every weekend. I know that the way I fish is outside the norm, but I took the time to figure out how to catch a few without anyone telling me what wasn't possible. It seems I found them much shallower and often in much warmer water than any fishing article said was possible. I thought I'd share a few things that worked for me and hoped to pick up a few tips from others.
