Limestone

Fished limestone yesterday from 9 till 5. After all the reports I was chomping at the bit to go. Just couldn’t find them. Fished all the pits,my favorite laydown up old limestone and the creek. Caught 1 about 12 inches and a tiny dink. I did hang what would have been by far the biggest fish I’ve ever caught single poling some brush in about a foot of water. Got him up and saw him and he went down and wrapped me around the brush and broke off. ?. Saw and talked with river boss a little. Got me to thinking a little more about wanting a flat bottom eventually. His is really nice. Didn’t see any gators thankfully. Not much luck but good to get back to my favorite place to fish. Now I’m waiting to see ditch post that he caught a limit today. Lol. Hope he did.

Sounds like a good therapeutic day on the water. Nothing like fishing to clear the head!
