Rockhouse and Wheeler NWR, Bank fishing.

They were pumping water yesterday at the Rockhouse, not a real heavy flow, but it was moving. Not a lot of fish moved in yet, the skip jack were in pretty thick and only saw a couple of crappie caught. Heard that they were pumping water at West Gate at Swan Creek and doing well there.

Thanks for the report. I rode to rock house last week after work one day. They were only catching skips and stripe then. I fish there on occasion after work but I’ve never really figured them out there.

That place changes every year depending on how the grass grows and what debris or sand settles into the cut. Some years awesome, some years only so so.
