Cotaco Creek ~ running fast question

If the outflow is less than the inflow water will be coming into Cotaco creek and I usually do pretty good if the water is rolling out the fish develop lockjaw and it is hard to get them to bite at least for me

I can’t speak to Wheeler but on Guntersville if water is backing up in the creeks it seems like it kills the bite. Seems like it’s backing up in the creeks most of the winter this year

My fish on Wheeler don't like a backwards flow either. Would have to think it don't seem natural to them.

I have fished Cotaco all my life since I live about 5 minutes away from Sharps Ford boat launch and if the water is coming in they seem to bite better at least in my honeyholes if its rolling out I can't buy a bite
