Moon doesn't seem to affect them far as I can tell, whether will be the biggest deal. Early March should be a excellent long lining bite. Last couple of year early March has been more consistent anyway.

I never have been much on caring what others thought. I'd catch em on a cane pole and cricket if that's what they were biting. Fighting fish is fun.

Well as you get older you get less Patient. I HATE fishing but Love catching. That means I will use any technique necessary. That sporting attitude is like these pine goat hunters who just want to shoot a Boone and Crocket record or come home. If I'm going to get up at 3 o'clock in the morning and go sit in a tree and freeze my tail off. I'm shooting the 1st eligible candidate that comes by. Buck or Doe. Horns are not edible and there is entirely too many pine goats as it is.

I think we agree on a lot of things. Lol

I’m voting on Glenn and rays recommendation. There home lake but I still understand every year is different so I say that to say nobody can predict weather or the fish behavior. We’ve had a few tuff fishing outings with always great fellowship
