Kayak Trip Report, Madison County Lake

I fished MCL from daylight till noon today. Not much to report, returned 5 over 12 inches and two short Crappie. The Crappie were 12 to 15 feet deep in 20 to 30 feet of water, but very scattered. I never really found any concentrations of fish or got on a pattern. The water was 53 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 55 by the time I left. Visibility was about 2 feet.

Walk to the trout pond an casted for 5 minutes, standing shoulder to shoulder isn't my kind of fishing, LOL!
