Thank you all. You guys are the best.
One other question this morning.
If you could only take one of these, what would it be?
A tube, stinger tail or hand tie.

That's a hard decision, would probably depend upon the time of year. Prespawn tubes. Baby shad are hard to beat any time. I have confidence in hand ties so I'm buyst, they work year round for me.
The 3 colors my friend (the best crappie fishermen I know) uses arky tubes in black chartreuse, red chartreuse, and yellow and white.

I like the Bobby Garland style bodies. I also fish hand tied jigs when I decide to make them
I am a hand tie only kind of guy but thats just my preference others work well I just the satisfaction of tricking a few with a lure I help make

I agree. I think people don't weigh in all the factors when they think a new jig color started catching fish for them. I think, more often than not, you just got on the fish, or they just started to bite. I change colors based on the water color and the light. But, I think you can catch every crappie out there with a natural color, a bright color, and a dark color.
I believe that you catch fish on the colors you have the most faith in. I fish with people that use different colors than I do but we both catch fish. Some times I will tie on their color and I can’t buy a fish then put back on the colors I like and start catching them. So I would say it is the color you prefer.
