Thread: Weiss in the summertime

Guys I’ve really just caught the crappie bug in the last year or two, been a bass and striper/catfish guy for many years. Had a blast long lining this spring, but once that dried up, I’m clueless. Where in the heck do these fish go when it’s disgustingly hot outside? Haha

I'm with these guys on the AC. If you're willing to get hot there's a few to be caught. Docks are good all year and deep brush. You might try night fishing to. Long lining is probably over till next spring or at least on the lakes I fish

Ditto on the AC for us old timers

Never fished Weiss but I do pretty well at night. Pretty much have the lake to myself.

If you are not familiar with Weiss it would be hazardous to travel it at night.

If you are familiar with it, Weiss is still hazardous to travel at night!

Weiss is hazardous during daylight.
