If your wife is going to work in B’ham I’d suggest either living well north or south of the town. Not for fishing reasons really, but for less congestion and better neighborhoods. Either side will put you closer to better fishing too.

Good luck on your move! It's definitely some amazing fishing all over the state. I am also moving down to Alabama in the coming months. My dad lives down there already and wants me to move down and help him out as he is older now and I can't pass up spending time with him and even more quality time fishing with him!
Yous guys come on down we got plenty of room and plenty of fish for ya. Born and raised all my 47 years in N. Alabama and I really do appreciate the kind words said about our area.
