On a positive note.....at least it wasnt catfish lol
I fish out of a kayak and just haven't done much good this spring. Part of that is lack of fishing, the rest of lack of catching. With the crazy flooding up here in north alabama, I didn't get out much. I went once in early February and caught a limit. I've been three times since and haven't caught a single crappie. I tried a little bit of everything on those three trips but between the high water and just bad luck, it was the worst three crappie fishing trips of my life, back to back to back. I might try to catch a few as they head back toward the deep, but I also might just chase a turkey the rest of this month.

They were still where I left them last week ! 4-7 fow and didn’t want to really commit to inhaling the jig until I added the G sauce and they couldn’t resist!
Here’s pics of a few of the ones I caught today no monsters but a fun day had 18 in couple hours all returned for another day!

From weather, work, family members in hospitals, rehab, nursing home, funerals and on and on I could go.
And it has taken a lot out of me. But God has been faithful.
I know my family and I have been blessed. You have to excuse me sometimes. My selfishness shows through sometimes. My body is running in low gear.lol
