Lewis Smith Lake

Going to smith lake this coming weekend. Love to hear any tips for where and what to fish. The wife has never caught crappie! Need to get her on a few. Thanks!!

Best tip I can give you is to go about 1hr north and fish. I would like your chances much better!

Guntersville would be my 1st choice. Don't know much about Wheeler but it will be better than Lewis Smith. Smith lake is beautiful ,clear and deep. Difficult to fish for someone with no knowledge of the lake. If you know somebody that fishes it a lot and they will help you or go with you you might do ok.
