I fished the North end of Limestone bay yesterday ahead of the cold front. I've been busy with work and family the last couple months so you have to go when you have time. The wind was brutal! I'd hope to spider rig some out of the wind, but there wasn't anywhere out of the wind. I anchored where I could and tossed a small jig or spinner. I caught lots of small bass, stripe and gills. I left with half a limit of Crappie and a dozen big gills or shellcrackers. I returned 4 or 5 more larger Crappie (14 inches plus) and about a dozen short Crappie. Consider fighting the wind, not a bad day. The water was clear and 58 degrees.
No photo's, cell phone was dead.
Glad you was able to get back out again!
