Well the warm weather made me put down the deer rifle and go with a buddy to Wedowee this past Friday. Glad I made that choice. We long lined and found good numbers of fish, but there were many shorts in the bunch. I think we caught to kept 3 shorts per 1 keeper, but know for sure catching over 100 for the day kept us busy. Think the water temp was 47 most of the fish were around 15ft in anywhere from 15 to 30FOW. Seemed like they were on the bottom in some places and up in others. Anything with chartreuse seemed to work.

Side note.... The boat ramp at the marina on 431 has huge pot hole on the left side looking at water... Be Careful, I busted my buddies rim on it pulling out.... not the highlight of the day.
