Yep.....then the headache of employees etc.,maintenance, repairs, upkeep, and grounds etc. You will be married to it...no time to fish. I would seriously want to know why the owners are trying to sell it....and would want to review their books for the past five years at least.
I'd come to fish but I wouldn't spend the night... I live a few miles a way from Jordan, which is not too far to Martin.
You have to be living with a business like this and have total dedication of time and lifestyle to make it work. I have seen a lot of resorts and fishing camps change hands over time and even not make it. It’s so competitive as well. A year of bad weather can wipe you out not to mention a change of the economy of the nation. Definitely look at the books or have a accountant look into his books of this before you buy into it.
Yes it would be a dedication 7 days a week. I'm working to get my numbers put together now. I just happen to be married to a CPA.
Maybe would could get our taxes done while we fish. Call it a two for one special.
