Is Weiss and guntersville your normal spots or no. If not I know guntersville is producing.

Never fished either one of them Lake Tuscaloosa is our home late can we fish a lot around black Warrior River as far as Mountville and Akron like 8 and we've been to Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee and fish Grenada a couple times but wanting something that's not too far from the house and one that we won't have a real hard time locating fish but more or less just a little get away from me and her

If you go to Weiss be careful and stay in the channels because there is lots of shallow water. Hope you have a great time.

Weiss can be tricky to run this time of year. The big G can be hit or miss. I would go to Neely Henry or wedowee. Both will have good socks and brush. And should be rocking an rolling

I would not go to Neely Henry right now, they are dropping the water 4 feet for about 2 weeks to do some repairs around the lake and there will not be hardly anywhere to launch a boat. I also think the fish will be shut down and not bite much until it is raised back up and has stabilized for several days. This is just my opinion and not based on any solid facts.

You are correct roger, I forgot about that. I know where to go when the water is down but it's not easy

I just got back from Weiss Saturday for the first time. I fished four days and caught two crappie even with advice from Footballcoach and Crappieflopper. I'm from Mobile and used to fishing the river delta. Seems that I have a hard time adapting to lake fishing but you might do well.
