Can anyone offer any fall crappie tips for fishing Lake Catoma?

I was also wondering if anyone on the board has fished the new Duck River Reservoir any? I've been a handful of times and have had success catching big bluegill and small bass but only caught a couple of dink crappie on minnows. Being new, the lake still has so much standing brush from about 25ft of water to the shore its hard to isolate them on brushpiles. I feel like they are scattered everywhere.
