Let me help you find an Excel dealer in your area. I run an Excel Bay Pro 203 and to me it's the perfect boat for crappie fishing, especially if you troll (longline, pull cranks, or spiderrig). If you want to run mine or fish out of it, get in touch with me.

If you put it in salt water, make sure you have a aluminum/galvanized trailer. I have done this and have to re wire every time and it rusts the trailer.

I love my Xpress, and even in light white caps it rides great. However, I got caught out on Guntersville in some 3' rollers and it wasn't fun. It may be 10 years before I get another boat, but when I do it will be a big glass boat.

Only reason that I ruled out glass boats when I bought this one is because the only way I could catch crappie was to tie up under a bridge and fish. I HATE tying up under a bridge and fishing due to the noise, so now that I don't fish that way, I wish I had a glass boat.

I've got to say out of all the aluminum boats the Express has the best ride. You may find a used glass boat for around the same price to. I seen some used bay boats in the price range when I was buying my skeeter last year. I don't know if I will ever go back to a bass boat again, I love my bay boat.

I found a guy that just bought a Xpress H20B bay with a 115 SHO that's going to carry me out on it and I'm going to give Mrdux a call and see if we can work something out so I can out out on his Excel and I sent Big River Marine a message to see what he has in stock might try to take a ride over to Memphis to look at what his got.
