In the last two days I have talked with Representative Mack Butler three times about the Asian carp problem. During my lifetime he is the only legislator who has ever called me. He is on our side on this issue and is making an effort to rally the troops in Montgomery. He told me last night the after researching the issue he felt as we do that this is a serious threat to our fisheries on the Tenn. River system. He also said that he had been in contact with Governor Ivy about the situation. Many of our legislators will help if we contact them. It takes a little time but we need to try to be proactive on this issue. Please contact your legislator it is election time. Mack is running for the state senate seat in my district this term and because of his constituent services will receive my whole hearted support
