same people probably named them that named June bugs since they don’t come out til july

I remember my dad telling me back int he day he and his friends would pile in a car, sit somebody on the hood holding a window screen in front of them, and drive down the road collecting willow/may flies. He said they'd fill up one of those old paper grocery sacks and head off to fish.

Seem some hatched out already today about 2 1/2 hrs south from here !
