Thread: Found a few

Well after all the different weather patterns I thought I would go out for a bit this morning and give them a try to see what stage I could find them in. I started out pulling jigs in 6-7 fow with only a few stripe to show so I moved closer to the bank with nothing to show for in 3-4 fow so the only other place was to move deeper and that’s where I started to find a few but they were scatter except for these up on a hump

kelp going and was going to turn around and go back through them after getting the lines back in the water but when I turned around their was another boat that had set up onto the hump so I kelp moving around ended up with 13 keepers 11 females full of bloody eggs and 2 males that were fairly dressed up caught lots of stripe


On the water at 6:30 wind got up at 8:30 Didn’t pick up anything else after that except green carp and stripe . I stopped pulling around 10 color didn’t seam to matter most the fish came close to the bottom! And some say they have done finished spawning but these hadn’t
