Got on the water around 2:30 with my 5 year old and my mother in law and we caught fish pretty good till about 5:30 trolling jigs. Had 15 nice keepers and probably caught 30-40 fish, lot of shorts. Seems like they should be on the banks in the next few days. Most of our fish came in 6FOW or less on spawning flats. Hung one nice spotted bass, of course it tangled several lines and then busted off. Conversation with my mother in law and my 5 year old. Her "how am I going to fish 3 rods back here" My boy " O you can handle it, just hand me one if you get more than one on at a time like Daddy does"
