Wheeler water level

Highest I’ve seen it in long long time. Rode out to rockhouse road and water was over the roads in certain spots. Wasn’t going to fish just riding in the jeep enjoying the pretty day, but it was plenty of people fishing didn’t see anybody doing much good. Did see ole green jeans out there also checking people.

I went yesterday and I actually had to slow down and let some carp that were feeding in the middle of the road get out of the way so I could drive to where I was launching my kayak. Not even joking. It was muddy and high. Didn't catch a single crappie.

Yeah Carp was everywhere. Seen a couple guys bow fishing for them in the fields.

Killing me.i cant even get to a spot where i was catching them this time last year.think im gonna try and catch a few catfish just so i can at least fish.

Lol slow down to let carp cross the road. Water has definitely been a mess. Hope it settles down this week since its my long week at work. Hopefully next week its back to normal when i can fish again! I seriously doubt it though

So messed up catfish wont even bite.caugt a couple bout a half pound a piece. Thats all i did all mu life till i got hooked on crappie fishing a couple years ago.thought sure i could catch a couple good ones but i guess everything is messed up
