Crappie Gear Sale at BPS, Leeds AL
Stopped in at the Leeds AL BPS yesterday while visiting my daughter in BHM. They have their annual crappie gear sale going on. Darrel Baker, a guide and pro from Weiss Lk was doing a seminar on dock shooting that was very informative. He is a BnM rep/sponsored so I tried one of their dock shooter rods and picked one up with a $10 discount. Really enjoyed talking with Darrel, good guy.

I have a Sharp Shooter, but I never use it. Bob I never buy anything from Bass Pro. too high on there prices. I do buy most of my stuff from Grizzly Jigs. I have been up there a couple of times, You talking about rods they have them. can't hardly beat there prices. You and your wife need to make a road trip.

I shop at bass pro a lot and most thinks are same or lower that anyone else. I do buy for other places to but I don't get the high prices they are right with everyone else.

Well, after you purchase from Grizzlies and factor in the shipping cost, might as well go to BPS. But I order a lot of my stuff off Facebook and I go to Wal-Mart/Academy. The only time I go to BPS is if someone calls em and says they have jigs for 0.50 LOL

BPS is high on prices, this yearly sale is when I load up on the few colors I need usually but was at grizzly jig and got most of what I needed at spring deal. almost bought wally's dock shooter but it wasn't on sale, in fact most of the rods I am looking for, kevin's new one was retail price, will wait. see if BnM has their's on sale, can't pay retail ever. I go to BPS just to browse and see what's out there. do academy near my home and can pick up their closeouts if you know where to look otherwise they are just as high.
