Default Kayak Trip Report, Bradford Sinks

I made a short trip to Bradford on Redstone Arsenal this morning fishing from 7AM till around 10:30AM. I kept a limit and returned many more for another day including 5 that were 14 inches or better. I'd planned to spider rig, but started catching them on the edge of the old Lilly Pads in 6 to 7 feet of water. Best bait was a 1" slider in yellow and orange. The water was very clear with visibility of 3 to 4 feet and 44 degrees.

I picked up 23 more this morning before I got too wet and cold. The water had cooled of a little to 45 degrees, but used the same little slider jig as yesterday.

Photo later when I clean them!
