    Ever have one of those days when they follow your jig to top of water and turn away? Well it was one of those kinda nights. Managed ten then called it a night. All fish released to fight again. Water temp still high I guess 74 still .

    Yes sir that's pretty common on Smith, They just won't commit sometimes. I have left scratching my head numerous times wonder what I could have done different to make them bite.

    Might try to free line the minnows with not weight. Sometimes you just drop a minnow in without any weight and just let them go and the fish will grab them on that kind of a day.
