Weiss. Water levels this winter

I was talking with a neighbor and he mentioned that they were only going to pull the lake down 3' anyone confirm that? Usually it's 6' and some change.

The way I understand it they never did get a study done on it because of budget, so they are going with plan b, going to hold the water level up later into the year and bring it back up earlier in the year. But it looks like they are already starting to drop the level.
