Default Decatur and elk river mills report

I fished Decatur week before last and had a blast. Caught about 30 plus bass in 3 hours. Had a 6 plus small mouth first 2 pics. Had another close to 5 and several 3 plus . I had a 5 LM and several spots in the 3 lb range. I fished last Thursday afternoon and 200 boats from the BFL were everywhere. Managed about 9 with a couple good small mouth ( last 2 bass pics ) All were caught close to the barge tie offs on live shad. boats were all around me with only 1 small bass caught on artificial by them. Fished yesterday at elk river mills and had 2 tiny bass and 1 crappie. Anyone know how to tell the mean mouth ( small mouth lm cross ) from a regular small mouth. Have caught some that were hard to tell what they were.

Very cool, good job! Sometimes I struggle to tell the difference too. Mostly have to look at corner of the mouth as it relates to the eye to tell the difference.

From what I have read, the mean mouth is a cross between a spotted bass and a smallmouth. And look for the tooth patch on the tongue to identify.
    Good pics and nice fish!
