Thanks for the report. Sounds like you did pretty good. I am planning on going Tuesday morning till it gets hot out there. Better be careful and take care of that back.

Well finally got off my lazy butt and did a little down rigging this morning. Hit the water around 8:30, fished the edge of river channel in 14 - 16' , had minnows down 13-14' , found a few crappie, think I may have had 7-8 keepers before my back ran me off the water around 10:00. Didn't weigh the three biggest but 1 was pushing 2lb and the other two maybe 1 1/2 lb. caught a 4 ish lb cat, and around a 3 1/2 ' gar. If my back starts to fell better I'll be back at it this afternoon, if not, back to making hand tied

Watch out now! Take care of that back!
Sounds like a good run Cowboy to start to pattern those fish. Get the back healed up!
Glad you're feeling a little better we all have had back trouble before and I know your pain buddy. Get better and go get them.

Glad you caught a few. Hope your back gets better? You been fishing with prowler. You might have hurt it carrying him. Lol![]()
