I haven't bought from him yet as I'm newer to dock shooting, too, but I've seen a lot of advocates for GrouseFly on here (and I have spoken with him). Just PM him. He also has a FB page - P&S Custom tackle - where you can look at some of what he has. If you want anything in specific, just ask him. CrappiePappy on here uses him a lot and swears by his weedless jigheads for dock shooting.
He definitely does good work. I am now buying only unpainted and fooling around with powder paints. I'm not sure how much difference the head color makes, but it is kind of fun to play around with!Quote:

Once you start you are in trouble.
Very addictive for sure. I have one of the sharpshooter poles. I put a bigger end eye on mine and the line flowed off way better for me. I love the pole now.
I used the 1/32 heads with red #2 sickle hooks. I can also second that there must be an additive in powder paint that makes you buy at least one vise and a lot of other tying gear to go with it.
