    Default Smith 7-3

Fished Smith last night and boy was I glad I had a buddy who was at his lake house and answered the phone. Was about 7 miles from the ramp when a big storm blew up. Called my buddy and took shelter until the storm passed. After it passed started fishing lights again and ended up with 30 keeper crappie 3 bream 10 short crappie and at least 10 stripe. Also had at least 10 nice crappie get off at the boat. Fished from the park to the dam. Threw jigs and minners catching a few off each light then moving on to the next one. Overall a great night of fishing. After the storms passed i had to lake to myself.

Wow! awesome job! you seem to catch some really big crappie down there. I would imagine smith lake doesn't get much crappie fishing pressure.

Smith doesnt have near the pressure that the other lakes have, but there are a good many people fishing the lights when I'm running around at night on the weekends. Thats one reason I like to fish at night during the week!

you keep posting picks like that and letting the world know where you are fishing, the pressure will increase and you won't have it to yourself much longer ..... just saying
