    Default Dadgumit....

My B&M Six Shooter came in from B&M today, and I was happy and jumping up and down like a little girl. Opened it up and the the tip was broke off. Dang it...it didn't come with a return slip. I guess I got to wait til Monday or Wednesday ? I called and got the recording their office is open Monday thru Thursday. So I'm sitting here with a 5 foot 101/2 inch 6 shooter that I paid $71.88 counting shipping that I can't use. I know those mail handlers are ruff with the stuff, and not B&M's fault I don't think, but dang I want to use it....

I have ordered two bnm 6sharpshooter one from bnm and the other from grizzly jig. I think they were a little cheaper form grizzly but the important thing was how they were packed. I don't remember how bnm was packed but grizzly was packed where you would have to run a tank over it to break the rod. Love the sharpshooter but if you shoot a lot you may have to replace the tip because line cutting grooves in it. Not a problem its something you can do quicker than sending it back.

Talked to the lady at the B&M office today, and she is sending a new one, and said to keep the broken one. The rod is about 2 '' short now. I don't know if I should put another eye on the end, or use it without? It's a pretty stiff rod, more than I was expecting. B&M was only open a half day today, and the mail had already been sent out, so the rod will go out Wed. I really like B&M they have always been good to me, I think they are a great company....thanks B&M....

Always happy with the customer service from those folks. Just re-tip the broken rod and use it a few inches short.
