Got all the cranks out and gave the Big G a go yesterday with nothing to show for the effort but a ton of stripe. The water temp was 76 and I fished from 15-25 FOW. Looks like the fish have not set up on their summer haunts yet. Marked a lot o fish suspended at 10', could have been a thermal cline they were hanging on but could not get a bite. The stripe were more than happy to keep me busy though. Grass was not too bad, but I wanted to take advantage of the low wind for the day. Tried to shoot a few docks and talked to one guy tied up under the 69 bridge and he only had 3 crappie for the morning. Guess it'll be rough until they get out deep and will hit the cranks. Not as any bait balls in the areas I was in either.
