Shoal Creek boat ramp

I am headed to Shoal Creek in the morning. I heard rumors that they may have closed the ramp down on the south side of 72 on the west side of shoals bridge. Is this true and what are other options. Thanks.

Not sure about the boat ramp on the south side. There is a newer one across the highway with no pier. I think it's a public boat ramp. But there's always Lock Six boat ramp in Killen right east of the mouth of shoals creek. Take left or right depending on which direction you are coming from at traffic light when you get into Killen, next to Church of Christ and follow to the end.

We did put in on the new ramp today. Lock 6 I figure is the one in the Turtle Point neighbor hood. I wasn't sure if it was public. Now if y'all can just tell me where my shell cracker an blue gill went.
