    Default bankhead lake area crappie


    hey guys,

    im new here. been lurking for a while now. im looking to go fishing in the bankhead lake area our of howtons camp this weekend. im used to fishing down in the mobile river delta and know the crappie well there. ive done very little fishing up here but i want to do more. im going saturday afternoon and wanted to know any tips you guys have for the area? does anyone fish the taylors ferry bridge pylons? do the fish still bite well in the evening around here? anything would help. im not looking for exact spots (unless you want to share ) just general tips for the area. thanks for the help guys.

    Welcome aboard. Are you going to fish the Bear Creek impoundments? Some standing timber there that can be fun to fish.
